1967 Ford Fairlane with a Screaming Twin-Turbo Coyote V8 on the Dyno

Published in engineswapdepot.com

Allen Hurley and his wild Team Hurley built 1967 Ford Fairlane called “The Joker” visited FuelTech’s hub dyno for a tune. The classic green car is powered by a twin-turbo 5.0 L Coyote V8 featuring billet crankshaft, billet connecting rods, billet main caps, upgraded camshafts, and large turbochargers. The engine is backed by a Turbo 400 three-speed transmission and reinforced Ford 9-inch rear end. Unfortunately FuelTech did not publish the dyno results. However Allen estimated the motor was making 2500-2700 hp to the tires on 45 psi of boost when interviewed by REVan Evan in 2023.
