Jay Meagher from Real Street Performance is back with another 2JZ engine build video. This time he is building a “RSG 1600” long block for professional drifter Cole Richards. Jay starts with a Mazworx 2JZ block and adds a Brian Crower 90 mm stroker crank, RS Garage billet main caps, ARP 8740 2JZ main studs, BC H-Beam connecting rods with ARP CA625 bolts, and custom CP 10:1 pistons with BME VascoMax C-300 pins. On top Jay installs a 2JZ-GTE VVTi head with Brian Crower valves and dual valve springs, Kelford DLC-coated buckets, and Brian Crower 272 VVTi camshafts. Lubrication is handled by a Powerhouse Racing dry sump kit with a Daily Engineering seven-stage pump. Watch Jay build a monster 2JZ in the video below.
