1976 Toyota Celica with a 5.0L V12
Shawn Bassett built a wild 1976 Toyota Celica at his company Attacking the Clock in Orlando, Florida. Rising out of the hood are velocity stacks leading to individual throttle bodies on a 5.0 L Toyota 1GZ-FE V12. The motor is built with forged rotating assembly, ported heads, billet camshafts, Harley Engines valve covers, and custom exhaust headers. Shawn estimates the V12 will produce 650 hp on pump fuel and 700 hp on E85 fuel. It’s paired to a ZF 8HP51 eight-speed automatic transmission from a 2024 GR Supra. The car rides on Moton adjustable coilovers with a cantilever rear suspension. The unique exterior features custom carbon fiber flares covered in 2024 Toyota Ridge Green paint over BBS E55 wheels.
