2012 Mustang with a Twin-Turbo Godzilla V8
This 2012 Mustang Boss 302 suffered a collision and subsequent engine loss. It was sent to Lakeview Automotive in Calgary, Alberta, Canada for a new life. The company installed a twin-turbo 7.3 L Godzilla V8 capable of 820 hp (603 kW) and 901 lb-ft (1221 Nm) of torque on 14 psi of boost and pump gasoline. The motor features a Callies camshaft (220/226 -.630/.621), gapped rings, 417 Motorsports low-profile oil pan, and two VS Racing 67/62 turbochargers. On top sits a custom intake manifold by Lakeview Automotive along with 80 lb injectors fed by two 430 lph pumps. The motor sits on custom mounts by Lakeview Automotive and a BMR tubular K-member with a hydraulic steering rack. Behind the V8 they installed a Mcloed RTX twin-disc clutch and Tremec TR-3160 six-speed manual transmission from a Shelby GT350. Read more about the project at Lakeview Automotive’s blog.
