1968 Mustang with a Hellcat V8

Published in engineswapdepot.com

Ford built this 1968 Mustang with a 289 ci Windsor V8. Since then it has changed a lot. The car called “Helleanor” is powered by a supercharged 6.2 L Hellcat V8 capable of 707 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque. Behind that is a Tremec TR6060 six-speed manual transmission. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels through a 9-inch rear end with a Truetrac limited-slip differential and 31-spline axles. The Mustang rides on Detroit Speed’s Aluma-Frame front suspension and Quadra-link 4-link rear suspension. Behind the American Racing 18-inch wheels are Wilwood six-piston brakes in front and four-piston brakes in rear. The body features a fastback conversion with “Eleanor” bodywork covered in Pepper Grey metallic paint. The unique Mustang can be found for sale on Bring a Trailer.
