BYP Racing’s K24-Powered Civic Races Around Sydney Motorsport Park

Published in engineswapdepot.com

Benny Tran drove the BYP Racing Honda Civic EK Drive Experience race car at SMSP Brabham Circuit for the ARDC Night Shift event. The hatchback is powered by a naturally aspirated 2.4 L Honda K24A3 inline-four and BYP Racing mixed-ratio six-speed manual transmission with a Cusco limited-slip differential. The motor features BYP Racing’s track-spec long block, ITR camshafts, ITR valvetrain, K20 oil pump, oil cooler, and KPro ECU. It produces 210 hp (154 kW) on 98 RON fuel. BYP Racing improved the hatchback’s handling with Shockworks F12 R10 coilovers, Type R sway bar, and Yellow Speed four-piston calipers with 286×26 mm rotors. Watch Benny spend 18 minutes racing around Sydney Motorsport Park’s Brabham circuit.
