AWD Honda CR-X with a Twin-Turbo V6

Published in engineswapdepot.com

Gooichi Motors built this AWD Honda CR-X for Jason Bacon for the track and street. It debuted at SEMA 2024 in the Toyo Tire booth. The small hatchback is now powered by a twin-turbo 3.2 L Honda J32 V6 built by Power Rev Racing (P2R). The motor features a sleeved block with forged internals, P2R intake manifold, two Garrett turbochargers, and Gooichi Motors custom titanium exhaust. It should produce approximately 850 hp on a Haltech Nexus R3 ECU. The motor is paired to a Quaife six-speed sequential transmission using a J-series to K-series adapter. A billet transfer case sends power to the front wheels and S1 Built 3-piece driveshaft to a Winters quick-change rear differential. The custom widebody was designed by Jon Sibal and 3d-printed with fiberglass overlay. Under the wider arches are Fifteen52 wheels with Toyo tires.
