1969 Chevy Blazer with a LT1 V8

Published in engineswapdepot.com

Velocity Restorations gave this 1969 Chevy K5 Blazer a new life at their facility in Cantonment, Florida. In the engine bay they installed a 6.2 L LT1 V8 making 455 hp (334 kW) and 455 lb-ft (616 Nm) of torque. Behind that is a 10L80 10-speed automatic transmission. A transfer case splits the power between a Dana 44 front axle with Warn locking hubs and Dana 60 rear axle with Trac-Lok limited-slip differential. The Blazer rides on a chassis built by Roadster Shop with 4-link suspension and Fox adjustable coilovers. It stops thanks to Wilwood six-piston front brakes and four-piston rear brakes. Those are covered by Bullet 18-inch wheels with BFGoodrich 305/70 tires. On the inside Velocity Restorations covered everything in custom leather with a wood-rimmed steering wheel on an Ididit steering column. They also added Dakota Digital gauges, Vintage Air AC system, and a six-point roll cage.
