1959 Chrysler 300E with a 1000 hp Supercharged Hellcat V8
American Legends Hotrods & Musclecars spent four years and 8,000 hours transforming the 1959 Chrysler 300E into the “1000X”. The project starts with a supercharged Hellcat V8 built by SRT Autoworks capable of 1,000 hp. Behind that is a Tilton triple-disc clutch and Bowler Magnum six-speed manual transmission and independent rear end. The car rides on a custom Roadster Shop chassis with cantilevered rear shocks and Wilwood six-piston disc brakes. On the body American Legends chopped the top, removed chrome trim, extended rocker panels, and modified the bumpers. A set of Avant Garde wheels with carbon fiber hoops accent the custom BASF color applied by James Evans. The custom leather upholstery by Patrick Goodwin features factory swivel seats, 3D-printed door panels, Dakota Digital gauges, and a Sparc Industries steering wheel.
