Ford Ranchero with a Twin-Turbo 600 ci V8

Published in engineswapdepot.com

Kindig It Design spent 18 months building this 1964 Ford Ranchero in 2018. It is powered by a twin-turbo 600 ci (9.8 L) Ford V8 built by Jon Kaase Racing Engines capable of 1200 hp to the wheels. The engine routes the exhaust through stainless steel tubing to two turbochargers in the bed. The motor is paired to a Powerglide two-speed automatic transmission and Ford 9-inch rear end. The Ranchero sits on a chassis built by Mullins Fabrication with a Mustang II front suspension and 4-link rear suspension. Behind the Billet Specialties wheels are Baer disc brakes. The interior features custom leather by JS Upholstery with Mustang seats, Dakota Digital HDX gauges, and Billet Specialties steering wheel on an Ididit tilt steering column.
