1966 Nova with a LS3 V8

Published in engineswapdepot.com

Charlies Custom Creations built this 1966 Chevy Nova called “Novatron” at their company in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. In the custom engine bay is a 6.2 L LS3 V8 producing 430 hp and 425 lb-ft of torque. Charlies Custom Creations fabricated a custom 3-inch exhaust and coated it in satin black Cerakote. Behind the V8 is a TKO 600 five-speed manual transmission transmitting power to a Ford 9-inch rear end with 3.73 gears. The car rides on a TCI front and rear suspension with Wilwood four-piston disc brakes. Charlies Custom Creations made several modifications on the body including narrowed bumpers, modified door gaps, custom headlight bezels, custom honeycomb grill, and Detroit Speed tubs. Everything is covered in House of Kolor Root Beer paint. The custom upholstery by H & H Upholstery is accompanied by a custom metal dash, Dakota Digital gauges, Forever Scarp steering wheel, and 3d printed AC vents. View more photos of the car’s progress in the Facebook album.
