Ford Fiesta with a 1000+ hp Volvo Inline-Five at Norges Råeste Bakkeløp

Published in engineswapdepot.com

Stian Hafsengen and his Ford Fiesta compete in Norwegian hillclimb and rallycross. The wild blue hatch is powered by a turbocharged 2.5 L Volvo inline-five in a longitudinal layout. Back in 2021 the motor was capable of producing 1026 horsepower and 1146 Nm (845 lb-ft) of torque on 2.5 bar (36.2 psi) of boost. Behind that is a Sellholm six-speed sequential transmission and 4WD drivetrain. HillClimb Monsters recorded Stian competing at 2023 Norges Råeste Bakkeløp hillclimb in the video below. During the offseason he rebuilt the Fiesta for the 2024 season.
