The factory 997 cc (60.8 ci) OHV inline-four has been replaced with a 2.0 L Vauxhall “Red Top” 20XE inline-four. The swapped engine is running off carburetors now.

The owner did not cite power numbers but a factory 20XE produces 154 hp (115 kW) and 150 lb-ft (203 Nm) of torque. Much more than the 35-40 horsepower and 49-56 lb-ft of torque the original Ford engine produced.
