Mike Whittaker from Sleepymike Racing owns a very fast Volkswagen Caddy Mk1. The truck is powered by a turbocharged 3.2 L R32 VR6 capable of 1,000+ hp (735+ kW). The motor features forged pistons and rods, Ferrea valves, factory camshafts, Pulsar G42 turbocharger, and Emerald ECU. Power is sent to all four wheels through a Kotouc MQ500-based seven-speed sequential transmission, Gen 1 Haldex, and Mk2 Golf rear differential. Mike dropped plenty of weight using carbon fiber front and doors. Drag Media UK recorded Mike taking the world record for fastest Caddy with a quarter-mile in 8.687 sec at 157.42 mph.
