VW 1303 Cabrio with a Type 4 Motor

Published in engineswapdepot.com

Memminger built this Volkswagen 1303 Cabriolet at their company in Germany. In the back of the car is a twin-carbureted Type 4 flat-four with a stainless steel exhaust. Power is sent forward through a rebuilt four-speed manual transaxle. Memminger rebuilt the car’s suspension with Bilstein shocks and disc brakes on each corner. The exterior is coated in silver paint with stainless steel running boards, synthetic black leather tonneau cover, and VW steel wheels with hubcaps. Memminger upgraded the interior with red leather Recaro heated seats. The dashboard, rear seats, grab handles, and sun visors also received red leather.
