1972 Chevy K10 with a 6.2L LT1 V8

Published in engineswapdepot.com

Velocity Restorations built this 1972 Chevrolet K10 with a 6.2 L LT1 V8. The motor’s 460 hp (338 kW) and 465 lb-ft (630 Nm) of torque is transmitted to a 10L80 10-speed automatic transmission. From there an Atlas 2-speed transfer case sends it to a Dana 44 front axle and Dana 60 rear axle. The truck sits on a Velocity Restorations chassis built by Roadster Shop. It features a 4-link front and rear suspension with Fox coilovers. Braking is handled by Wilwood six-piston front calipers and four-piston rear calipers. Velocity Restorations covered the classic body in gloss black paint accented by chrome bumpers, LED headlights, and US Mags Scottsdale 18-inch wheels wearing BFGoodrich Mud Terrain T/A 35-inch tires.
