1997 Land Rover Defender with a Supercharged LSA V8

Published in engineswapdepot.com

This 1997 Land Rover Defender 90 NAS (North American Specification) was built by Osprey Custom 4×4 in 2022. The SUV is powered by a supercharged 6.2 L LSA V8 producing 580 hp (426 kW) and 556 lb-ft (753 Nm) of torque. A 6L80E six-speed automatic transmission transmits that power to a NP241 transfer case. And from there double Cardan driveshafts connect to heavy-duty axles with upgraded CV joints. The powertrain is supported by a hot-dipped galvanized chassis with a Terrafirma suspension and Wilwood disc brakes front and rear. The Defender is covered in Beluga Black paint with a Badger soft top. Under the arches are a set of KMC KM444 Mesa 17-inch beadlock wheels wearing BFGoodrich KO3 All-Terrain 295/70 tires. Osprey Custom 4×4 is selling the Defender for $209,950.
