1973 Mazda RX-2 with a Turbo 13B
We found this 1973 Mazda RX2 Series 2 for sale on Tokyo Prestige. The listing states the sedan won “Best RX-2” at Rotary Revival. Power is generated by a turbocharged 1.3L 13B two-rotor built by Xtreme Rotaries. The bridgeported motor features CNC machined rotors, Borgwarner EFR 9180 turbocharger, PWR Ice Plus water-to-air intercooler, PRP GTR ignition coils, and Full Function USA adapter for a Bosch drive-by-wire throttle body. A Link ECU controls the fuel supplied by two Walbro HP470 pumps to four ID1700X injectors. Behind the motor is a Ogura Racing Clutch (ORC) Super Single clutch and Green Bros Racing adapter for a Toyota R154 manual transmission. Power is sent to the tires through a Ford 9-inch rear end with a 4.30 ratio. Suspension upgrades include a KE70 steering rack, Wilwood disc brakes in front, and Skyline calipers in back.
