Vigilante 4×4 built their first Jeep Scrambler CJ-8 at their company in Johnson City, Texas. In the engine bay they installed a 392 ci Hemi V8 crate motor capable of 485 hp (356 kW) and 475 lb-ft (644 Nm) of torque. Backing that is a 4L80E four-speed automatic transmission and Advance Adapters Atlas II transfer case. A Currie Dana 44 front axle and Currie Dana 60 rear axle complete the powertrain. The Scrambler rides on a fully boxed Vigilante chassis developed by Roadster Shop. The chassis features a 4-link front and rear suspension with Baer six-piston calipers and 14-inch rotors on each corner. Those are covered by Vigilante Signature 17-inch wheels wearing BFGoodrich All-terrain TA K03 285/70 tires.
