BMW E30 with a Honda F20C
Faruk Kugay built this 1985 BMW 318i at his company DevSpeed Motorsports with a 2.0 L Honda F20C inline-four. The motor produces 240 hp (176 kW) and 153 lb-ft (207 Nm) of torque. Behind that is a S2000 six-speed manual transmission, custom driveshaft, and BMW limited-slip differential with a 3.73 ratio. Faruk improved handling using KW Variant 3 adjustable coilovers, E30 M3 front spindles, E36 318Ti rear trailing arms, and Garagistic chassis and subframe reinforcements. He swapped the factory brakes for E38 M3 disc brake on front and rear. Covering those are Rotiform IGS wheels (17×9.5, 17×11) wearing Toyo Proxes RA1 tires (255/40, 275/40). The exterior received Pandem v1.5 widebody fenders, rear bumper, side skirts and CATuned E30 M3 Evo II rear wing and carbon fiber roof. Read more details on the project in Eneos’ blog.
