1970 MGB GT with a LS3 V8

Published in engineswapdepot.com

Leroy Engineering is a company in Chardon, Ohio specializing in Mazda Miata maintenance, restoration, and performance. However when they were asked to build a special 1970 MGB GT they accepted. The company swapped the factory inline-four for a 6.2 L LS3 V8 capable of at least 430 hp (316 kW). Leroy Engineering flipped the manifolds and routed it through the front fenders for a custom side exit exhaust. The drivetrain backing the V8 is a T56 six-speed manual transmission and Ford 8.8-inch rear end. Leroy Engineering complemented the upgraded powertrain with a custom suspension and fiberglass widebody.
