1991 Honda CR-X with a Rear-Engine H22
This 1991 Honda CR-X originally came with a 1.5 L D15 inline-four. The factory engine bay now only houses an eight-gallon fuel cell, radiator, and custom aluminum floor. The car is powered by a 2.2 L H22A inline-four from a JDM 1994 Prelude swapped into the back of the car. The H22 motor features a Skunk2 intake manifold, DC Sport exhaust header, and custom exhaust. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels through a Prelude five-speed manual transmission with a limited-slip differential. The factory rear suspension was swapped for a Civic EG front suspension, subframe, and disc brakes. The interior features Acura Integra seats with Schroth harnesses in front of a custom rear firewall with a polycarbonate window. The special CR-X can be found for sale on Bring a Trailer.
