Nissan 350Z with a 982 whp Twin-Turbo V8
Rick Craig competes in the DMCC Canadian Drifting Series in a Nissan 350Z. Rick wanted a power plant change so the car went to KMP Speed Shop (KMP) in Longueuil, Quebec, Canada. While there the company installed a twin-turbo 427 ci (7.0L) LSx V8. The motor features a 427 ci Dart block, TSP 265 cc PRC LS3 heads, Holley Ultra Low intake manifold, and 2000 cc Bosch injectors. Boost is generated by two Turbosmart 6466 turbochargers with Turbosmart WG45 wastegates. The combo produced 982 hp (722 kW) and 932 lb-ft (1263 Nm) of torque to the wheels on 17 psi (1.1 bar) of boost and Ignite Red 114 (E90) fuel. Behind the twin-turbo V8 is a Tilton four-disc clutch and a HGT five-speed sequential transmission. View more photos of the 350Z at KMP Speedshop FB post.
