LOJ Conversions’ V8-Powered Nissan Xterra

Published in engineswapdepot.com

LOJ Conversions transformed a 2011 Nissan Xterra PRO-4X into “Crazy-X”; a SUV capable of a trip to the track and grocery store. In the engine bay they swapped a 6.2 L LS3 V8 using their swap kit. The motor features an upgraded camshaft, Fast LSX HR intake manifold, upgraded injectors, dry nitrous system, custom 3-inch exhaust, and Haltech Nexus R3 ECU. It is capable of producing close to 500 hp (367 kW) to the wheels. Behind the motor is LOJ Converisons’ adapter fitted to a Nissan EA200 Six-speed manual transmission. A custom 1-piece driveshaft transmits power to a Quaife 350Z limited-slip differential in a Pathfinder housing. LOJ Conversions raised the Xterra’s suspension 2 inches and installed a Nissan Pathfinder independent rear subframe. Each corner received a set of Viking Berserker Series shocks and Eibach springs. A BMW MK60E5 ABS unit controls Nissan 370Z Nismo calipers with DBA rotors and custom hats in the front and Pathfinder rear disc brakes. Those are covered by Forgestar CF5V wheels 19×11 with Yokohama 325/30 tires.
