AWD Integra with a 1100+ hp Turbo K24

Published in engineswapdepot.com

This 2001 Honda Integra Type R (DC2) arrived at BYP Racing as a rolling shell. The company built the car in several weeks for roll racing. Under the hood is BYP Racing’s K24 1200 hp longblock featuring a sleeved K24A3 block, Diamond forged pistons, Carillo K24 aluminum rods, Honda S2000 oil pump kit, and Turbosmart 7275 0.96 A/R turbocharger. A steady supply of E85 fuel is fed by eight injectors on a Pracworks twin fuel rail intake manifold controlled by a BYP modified Hondata KPROV4 ECU. The combo made 823 kW (1103 hp) at 9400 rpm and 37 psi (2.5 bar) of boost. The motor is paired to a Quaife five-speed sequential transmission with a twin-disc clutch, CR-V transfer case, and CRV rear axle.
