1978 Chevy C30 with a Cummins 24v
Sean Ramage and his company Empire Fabrication spent a year and half building this 1978 Chevy C30 dually. The truck originally came with a 454 ci V8 and Turbo 400 three-speed automatic transmission. Empire Fabrication swapped the big-block for a Cummins 24v turbodiesel inline-six producing approximately 260 hp (191 kW) and 350 lb-ft (474 Nm) of torque. Behind that is a transmission adapter bolted to an Allison six-speed automatic transmission running a standalone controller and a Dana 70 rear axle. The truck rides on a restored factory chassis with a notched rear, air bag suspension, and a set of 22.5-inch Alcoa wheels machined to a 22-inch wheel.
