Pieter Zeelie built this Toyota MR2 for hill climb racing. The red sports car is powered by a turbocharged 3.5 L Toyota 2GR V6. In 2019 the motor produced 820 hp (603 kW) but HillClimb Monsters reports the motor now produces 1030 hp (757 kW). Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Kaps LS7 seven-speed sequential transaxle supported by an upgraded double wishbone rear suspension with custom aluminum upgrights and stronger hubs. Watch Pieter’s previous hill climb runs in Simola 2024, St. Ursanne 2023, and Osnabruck 2023 in the video below or read the build thread.
