1971 Chevelle with a Supercharged LT4

Published in engineswapdepot.com

Ironworks Speed & Kustom built this 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle through their Legacy Series program. The project start with a supercharged 6.2 L LT4 V8 making 650 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque. Behind that is a 10L90 10-speed automatic transmission, Mark Williams high-speed driveshaft, and GearFX Ford 9-inch rear differential. The car sits on a Speedtech Performance chassis with Ultimate Performance custom-valved JRI shocks and Wilwood six-piston calipers with 14-inch rotors on each corner. The Chevelle retains the factory gold paint and black vinyl roof accented by JW Speaker headlights and a set of Forgeline OE2 wheels (19×10, 20×12) wearing Michelin 285/35 and 335/30 tires. On the inside Ironworks Speed & Kustom installed recessed floors for power seats and taller drivers (up to 6’10”). There is also a billet gauge cluster with Dakota Digital gauges, Vintage Air Gen 5 AC system, and billet steering wheel with paddle shifters.
