Published in engineswapdepot.com

Tim Fenna from Frontline Cars visited Jay Leno’s Garage to show off the company’s “LE60” MGB GT. The customized British sports car is now powered by a 4.8 L Rover V8 making 375 hp (275 kW) and 312 lb-ft (423 Nm) of torque. The motor features a balanced crankshaft, forged rods and pistons, roller camshafts, and custom intake. Behind that is a Tremec TKO five-speed manual transmission and Quaife limited-slip differential. The 2495 lb rides on Nitron coilovers with an adjustable sway bar in front and a six-link setup in the rear. Braking is handled by six-piston calipers with 310 mm rotors in front and two-piston calipers with 265 mm rotors in the rear. Covering those are a set of Dunlop-style 16-inch wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires. Frontline Cars estimates the car can reach 160 mph and 0-60 mph in 3.6 sec. Listen to Jay Leno discuss the unique car with Tim before test driving.
