The company starts with stripping down a Mercedes 190E to the chassis. They extend the wheelbase 3.2 inches by moving the front axle two inches forward and the rear axle 1.2 inches back. HWA installs FIA-based safety structure to improve energy absorption, side-intrusion, and torsion stiffness.

In the engine bay is a twin-turbo 3.0 L M276 V6. HWA installs a dry sump system and moves the starter, alternator, power steering pump, and AC compression to the rear of the engine. The motor produces 450 hp (331 kW) and 550 Nm (405 lb-ft) of torque on a custom ECU. A custom steel or carbon fiber driveshaft sends power to a six-speed manual transaxle in the back of the car.

HWA installs a custom DTM suspension with custom ABS (antilock braking system) and ESP (electronic stability system). The base model will require manual adjustment on the KW coilovers while the “Affalterbach” model will allow for electronic adjustment. Braking will be handled by six-piston with 380 mm rotors in front and four-piston with 360 mm rotors in back.
