Manhart’s BMW E31 with a 5.0 L S62 V8

Published in engineswapdepot.com

Manhart is building a limited number of “MH8 5.0 V8” at their company in Wuppertal, Germany. The unique vehicle starts with a BMW 850i (E31) powered by a 5.0 L M70 V12. Manhart swaps the V12 for a 5.0 L S62B50 V8 from a BMW E39 M5. The motor’s output is increased to 420 hp and 560 Nm thanks to their tune and stainless steel exhaust. To help the improved performance, Manhart installs H&R lowering springs, Bilstein B6 shocks, and their four-piston front brakes with 340 mm rotors. The exterior receives a BMW 850i CSi front apron, M-series mirrors, and 850i CSi rear bumper. Manhart completes the coupe’s look with their Concave One wheels (20×9, 20×10.5) wearing Continental Sport Contact 7 tires (255/30, 295/25).
