Published in engineswapdepot.com

Real Street Performance built a 3.5 L 2JZ inline-six for testing Dart’s new 2JZ Iron Eagle block. The engine also features Brian Crower billet lightweight 96 mm crankshaft, Brian Crower HD H-beam rods with Honda journal, custom 10:1 compression pistons, Clevite main and rod bearings, and wet sump system. On top they installed a new OEM 2JZ-GTE head ported by Mazworx (Stage 3), Brian Crower Stage 3+ camshafts, Supertech 118 lb dual valve springs, and Ferrea Competition Plus intake and exhaust valves. The combo made 1821 hp and 1226 lb-ft of torque on 69.5 psi of boost from a Precision Next Gen 8685 turbocharger. Watch the engine build and dyno session below or read about the full specs here. The next step is disassemble the engine for inspection. After that they plan to rebuild it with a bigger turbocharger for 2,000+ hp goal.
