This 1967 Land Rover Defender Series 109 2a was built by Himalaya4x4 and Peerless Overland. It was a frame-off restoration where just about everything besides the body is new. The engine and transmission was replaced by a modern Land Rover 4.0 L V8 and automatic. The axles were swapped for Land Rover Discovery axles and the brakes were upgraded to power disc brakes. If you are wondering what something like this costs, the Himalaya4x4 site has it listed for $165,000. Hopefully the eBay reserve is a little bit less.
