This 1982 Fiat 124 Spider was converted to electric by ElectricGT in California. The company installed their GTe-173 crate motor kit. In the engine bay is a HP Hyper 9 electric motor producing 120 hp (90 kW) and 173 lb-ft (234 Nm) of torque. The company’s custom adapter allows the car to retain the factory five-speed manual transmission and drivetrain. The car’s range is 80 miles with a 25 kWh Tesla battery pack. Under the factory fuel cover is a Level 2 charger. The electric conversion resulted in the car weighing 2,390 lb.
