1969 Mercedes 280SE Restomod

This custom 1969 Mercedes 280 SE was built from the ground up by our team at Retro Designs. The exterior was fully restored to original condition with the exception of a shaved sunroof, Porsche Irish Green paint and custom billet wheels inspired by the original steel wheels and hubcaps. The powertrain was kept in the Mercedes family with a modern AMG V8 engine and accompanying 5-speed transmission, but required custom wiring, gauges, fuel system and more to ensure proper functionality throughout. The interior is a combination of original restored components and custom hand made pieces. With one off gauges, custom climate control and modern audio system, we kept the factory touchpoints throughout with the intention of retaining the factory Stuttgart feel.
