When Jonny Smith was contacted by the owners of The Manor in Ashby St Ledgers (the location of the Guy Fawkes gunpowder plot) to say there was a classic Lamborghini needing to be rescued in a stable, he couldn't believe another Lambo barn find had come his way! Thanks for stopping by The Late Brake Show. In this episode, the story of a 1971 Espada series II bought new by speed record holder and racing driver Roy Jackson Moore is told. The previous owner, who restored the stately home, moved away and left it stored in the stable directly below the 'Plot Room', where Robert Catesby and Guy Fawkes planned the exploding of Parliament in 1605. The previous owner's fiancee was singer and modelling icon Grace Jones, who both travelled extensively in the classic Lambo, and lived in the house at one time.
