Silver State Rock Crawling Championship Highlights

"Rock crawling is back" was something I kept hearing through out the event. This being my first crawling event coverage I'm really looking forward to next year! The following was copied from www.silverstate.rocks.com The first annual Silver State Rock Crawling Championship took place in Reno, Nevada, September 26th-27th. The event took place on the natural terrain overlooking the race track at the Wild West Motorsports Park, just 10 minutes from downtown Reno. With the booming growth of off-road motorsports in Northern Nevada, there are few places better suited to host an event of this type. The Silver State Rock Crawling Championship is geared toward both pro level and entry level teams. “I really want to focus on getting local teams involved,” said event creator, Jesse Haines. “We’re planning to keep entry fees reasonable and create courses that make this practical for recreational wheelers as well as pros.”
