Skyline GTR R34 - A Love Story The Skyline GT-R was never manufactured outside Japan, and the sole export markets were Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, and the UK. Despite this, the car has become an iconic sports car, including in countries from the Western World including the United States. The city of Newark saw tremendous industrial and population growth during in it's heyday, but experienced racial tension and urban decline, which culminated in the 1967 riots, resulting in many families, and businesses leaving the once thriving metropolis. When given the nod to shoot this automotive unicorn, at least in the states, we thought the new city of Newark would be a great opportunity to showcase both this beautiful R34 and a city which was once the crown jewel of the state.
