For this film we went to Southern California, where people ride vintage bikes, customize cars, get lots of tattoos and drink more Sailor Jerry than anywhere else on the planet. Hollywood talent agencies? Screw that. Instead, we went to bars, vintage car and hot rod clubs and found people who live the life and love the brand. We grabbed our bikes and rode out to the desert to the Salton Sea, climbed fences, built fires, stayed up all night and shot everything with vintage lenses from the 1960's. Hell, we used a Super 8 camera for almost half of it. Then we combined it with footage that hearkens to an American lineage of rebellion and counterculture that goes back to the 1940's. The music is "TV Eye" by The Stooges, the band that started punk in the first place. This classic track was recorded live in the studio, May 1970 and this is the first time it's been used like this.
