Who would have thought back in 1949 that a former russian airfield somewhere in eastern germany will be the place to go to if you want to experience authentic 1/8 mile hot rod races in the year 2012? Hard to tell but probably not even George Orwell. Lucky for us, fellow ACES member mister Schuppli went up into the teutonic outback and thanks to modern technology was able to provide us with his stunning photographs. See and marvel.
