1951 Chevrolet Hauler with a Cummins 6BT

1951 Chevrolet 5700 COE hauler with a 5.9 L Cummins 6BT turbodiesel inline-six

We discovered this 1951 Chevrolet 5700 COE hauler on Barrett-Jackson while searching for interesting projects. The custom hauler uses a stretched 1953 Chevy truck cabin on a custom frame with independent front suspension and air bag rear suspension. The cabin tilts forward to reveal a powertrain featuring a 5.9 L Cummins 6BT turbodiesel inline-six and 47RE automatic transmission. Behind the cabin is a rollback deck measuring 18.5 feet long and 94 inches wide. The total truck measures 32 feet and 7 inches long. It rides on 10 custom aluminum 16-inch wheels with 235/85R16 tires.
