BMW M2 with a Turbo VW Inline-Four

Marco Zakouřil competes in Drift Masters in a BMW F87 M2. In the previous season the car was powered by a turbocharged 4.4 L BMW M62B44 V8. Drift Masters reported Marco had reliability and weight issues with the M62 motor. So for the 2025 season Marco swapped to a turbocharged 2.0 L VW EA888 inline-four built by RTMG Performance. They built the TFSI inline-four capable of 750-800+ hp (551-588+ kW). Behind the motor is a DMA Racing Gears sequential transmission.
