Mopar will be debuting the 1967 Plymouth GTX Electromod Concept at SEMA 2024. The company wants to showoff what could be done with a possible Mopar e-Crate system and swap kit.

In the factory engine bay is a 250 kW electric drive module (EDM) and integrated dual-charging module (IDCM). The motor produces 335 hp and 335 lb-ft of torque through a 3:1 gear reducer. The 6061 aluminum mounts are designed to work with E-body and B-body cars if Mopar decides to release an electric swap kit.

Four battery packs comprised of 384 lithium-ion battery cells providing 73 kW/hr allows the car to have a 250 mile range. Three battery packs are located in the trunk and one battery pack is located in the factory engine bay behind the grill.

The car rides on a lowered 3-link rear suspension with Wilwood disc brakes on each corner. Covering those are BTG Vintage forged magnesium 18×9-inch wheels with Pirelli P-ZERO (PZ4) tires.

Mopar installed a custom carbon fiber hood and front splitter. The body is covered in Frostbite Blue paint with twin satin black racing stripes. They also truck and painted the bumpers. The grill, trim, mirrors, and tail panel is painted satin black.

The interior features Jeep Wrangler seats covered in blue leather and grey suede with 3-point belts. Between the seats are a custom center console with a Jeep Grand Cherokee cup holder. A set of custom gauges are behind a blue leather wrapped steering wheel.
