When this Toyota Corolla (E100)
arrived at TRS Racing in Poland it had a 1.3 L 4E-FE inline-four. The factory motor produced 88 hp (65 kW) and 82 lb-ft (111 Nm) of torque. TRS Racing was tasked with swapping a 2.0 L 3S-GE inline-four and manual transmission. The 3S-GE motor increased the car’s output to 170 hp (125 kW) and 140 lb-ft (191 Nm) of torque. They swapped the motor using custom mounts and modified exhaust and axles. TRS Racing installed a larger aluminum radiator, DeatschWerks fuel pump, LUK clutch, and Ecumaster EMU ECU. They rebuilt the suspension with new bushing, bearings, hubs, and Bilstein shocks with KW springs. View more photos in the FB build album.
