Multimatic built 50 Ford Bronco DR (Desert Racer) vehicles at their company in Canada. This particular Bronco DR is 1 of 2 with the “Big Oly” livery was auctioned at Mecum. Under the fiberglass body is a modified U725 chassis with long-travel suspension, Multimatic’s DSSV remote-reservoir dampers, aluminum lower control arms, Radflo hydraulic bump stops, and Alcon six-piston brakes. Covering those are 17-inch beadlock wheels with 37-inch BFGoodrich competition tires. Power is generated by a 5.0 L Coyote V8 paired with a 10R80 10-speed automatic transmission, dual-range transfer case, and locking differentials with 4.70 ratios. On the inside Multimatic installed Recaro Pro Racer ORV-XL seats with Sparco harness protected by a roll cage. There is also Sparco flat-bottom steering wheel, Holinger paddle shifters, Tilton pedal box, Motec C187 digital display, Lowrance HDS 9 GPS system, and ventilation system.
