Why are these the most difficult cars to convert to electric?

Why are these the most difficult cars to convert to electric?

In todays episode we explain why the VW Camper isn't as easy as some might think to convert to electric. Although this type of Volkswagen Camper is synonymous with the 60's and hippy vibe it was never actually a camper from the VW factory. Originally developed as a commercial vehicle the Volkwagen Type 2 was soon picked up by companies who then took the microbus version (or sometimes the van version) and converted them into campers. Companies likes Danbury, Westfalia and Devon were amongst the most popular. But it's these different camper interiors that always cause headaches when converting them to electric as the interiors are often different between them. We also take out the VW Van for a little mountain biking and see just how much space there is in the back of one of those.
