Makellos Classics turned a 1978 Porsche 911 SC into a Safari 911
I say awesome a lot in this one, fair warning. This is something you might call an "in-between car". You can take it to the track, to the canyons, and deep into the woods. This is a Safari Porsche 911 from the folks at Makellos Classics in Escondido, California. This car started life as a standard 1978 Porsche 911 SC. The stock suspension was ripped out for a fully adjustable setup from KW. A set of Pirelli Scorpion tires wrap around awesome rally-style Fifteen52 wheels. Out in the tail, the 3.0-liter engine is original to the car but this one has been upgraded with 964 heads. There's LED lighting up front, a roof rack with a spare on top, a half cage in the rear, and fantastic-ness all around. Taking something destined for the road and forcing it to do your dirty work is an automotive moment of joy. And this Porsche Safari 911 delivers that joy over and over again. ---------------------------------- http://www.Hooniverse.com GO BUY A SHIRT! https://www.blipshift.com/collections/hooniverse?utm_source=hooniverse&utm_medium=youtube&utm_campaign=partner_store blip.sh/hooniverse Follow us on Twitter and Instagram: @TheHooniverse - https://twitter.com/thehooniverse @JGlucker - https://twitter.com/jglucker @HooniverseJeff - https://instagram.com/hooniversejeff @TheRealHooniverse - https://instagram.com/therealhooniverse Like us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Hooniverse And please subscribe to this channel, thanks! #Porsche911 #Safari911 #Hooniverse
