Classic Recreations built this 1968 Mustang “GT500CR” at their company in Flower Mound, Texas. It is powered by a third-generation 5.0 L Coyote V8 boosted by a Whipple Stage 2 supercharger. Behind that is a 10-speed automatic transmission and 9-inch rear end with a limited-slip differential and 3.70 ratio. The Mustang rides on a Detroit Speed front and rear suspension with tubular subframe connectors. The exterior features a carbon fiber body with red racing stripes and Shelby G.T.500CR badging. Under the fenders are Nitto NT01 tires (275/35, 335/30) mounted on CR wheels (18×8, 18×12) covering Wilwood 13-inch brakes in front and 12-inch brakes in rear.
