1969 Ford Bronco with a Coyote V8

Published in engineswapdepot.com

Jonathan Ward is back with ICON 4×4’s Derelict BR (#104). The company started with a 1969 Ford Bronco that originally came with a 302 ci V8. It is now powered by a 5.0 L Coyote V8 making 435 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque. The modern motor is paired to a Gearstar AOD four-speed automatic transmission and Atlas ll part time transfer case. Power is split between a Currie Dana 44 front axle and Currie Dana 60 rear axle, both with ARP locking diffs. The Bronco rides on Fox Racing coilover suspension and stops thanks to Brembo six-piston front brakes and four-piston rear brakes. On the inside ICON installed their dash and center console. ICON covered the front heated seats and removable rear seat in custom leather. A Vintage Air Gen 5 system keeps occupants comfortable while a roll cage protects them.
