1965 Mustang with a Supercharged Coyote V8
CJ Pony Parts created their 1965 Mustang called “Project 50/30” from a rotten shell. In the engine bay the company installed a 5.0 L Coyote V8 and a Vortech V3 supercharger. The combo produces 578 hp and 531 lb-ft of torque. A Tremec TKO-600 five-speed manual transmission sends that power to a narrowed 8.8-inch rear end with 4.10 gears and custom Currie axles. The Mustang rides on a Rod & Custom front crossmember, 4-link rear suspension, and a set of Ridetech HQ adjustable coilovers. Behind the custom Niche Road Wheels (18×9, 20×11) are Baer six-piston calipers with 14-inch drilled/slotted rotors in front and Baer four-piston calipers with 14-inch drilled/slotted rotors in back.
